16TH ANNUAL DAY Celebrations of Dr GSK marks the success of an action completed. Annual days are to rejoice the year well lived, learned, and loved.
The 16th Annual Day of Dr.GSK Memorial School displayed the years with glee and delight. Around 1800 students participated and staged a very huge programme.Students led the show with their master of ceremony along with the teachers.
The Chief guest was our reverend Chairman whose solemn presence made the moment enchanting. CEO the earnest soul drives the team forward and captain crew our Principal supports and guides the entire system.The Deans,HODs ,CCs and the entire teaching fraternity spearheaded the day with their tremendous support and excellent work.
The series of event began with customary programmes like lamp lighting, prayer song, musical ensemble, invocation dances. The devotional duty of lighting the lamp was done by honourable Principal along with other dignitaries.
This time, after two long dismal years, the celebration reached pinnacle of success. In every programme there was something special to our senses.
The resplendent gala night served every heart with joy and wonder. Students made magical moments, created happy memories and surrounded the premises with laughter and friendship as they celebrated the special occasion with brotherhood & harmony.
When all the percussions wind and string instruments joined hands for the music concert for a splendid treat for the heart.
The invocation dance depicted the divergent nature of lord Vishnu was seraphic.
The western dance by young soul-sparkling kids was mesmerising, powerful and alluring. The celebration was filled with hits after hits. Dances with a variety in the disguise of Mermaids, Avatars, Charlie Chaplin, Vadivelu were tantalizing success.
Thought provoking thematic Tamil, English, Hindi, Sanskrit & multilingual skits & drama were enacted prudently.It was an energetic performance showing the powers of all 5 elements of the universe, honesty, compassion & kindness.
Dignitaries thoroughly enjoyed the performances of the kids and youngsters who were the sparkling stars of the day.They rocked the stage with their radiant show.
Annual report of every school talks high about the greatest achievement of the school .Our school always stands tall in every task we do and one such masterpiece as one of the best practices of our school is to hone the skills of every student. Ms. Krishika of Grade V and Ms. Jenny C of Grade VI presented the annual report of our school confidently. They received a special appreciation from the Chairman for their nail biting performances. It was read out so well with appropriate pause and intonation.
Chairman addressed the gathering with his verve thoughts of being generous and thoughtful. He also insisted all the parents to be more specific about teaching values to their children so that they serve themselves as good citizens. He always encourages everyone to grow richer in terms of knowledge.It was two days of honour, joy and talent.
