The month of Margazhi is considered to be the best of all the Tamil months. It's goodness has no end. The health benefits it gives, the calmness it creates is immense.
In this pious month, our students from Dr. G S K Memorial enchant the holy song THIRUPAVAI and THIRVEMPAVAI in various temples in and around Kumbakonam.
Students are taken to various sacred temples - Nathan Temple, Chakrapani Temple, Uplliappan Temple, Ramaswamy Temple, Kumbeshwarar Temple, Patteeswaram Temple, Kalinganarthar Temple and many more to recite the holy songs.
It is a blessing to experience this beautiful pious thing as a part of the Margazhi Maha Utsav conducted by the Art Academy of our school.
We thank Our Management for organizing such a great deep rooted practice of reciting THIRUPAVAI and THIRVEMPAVAI in the temples.
