Investiture Ceremony 2023
Dr GSKs motto is to create leaders of tomorrow and Investiture Ceremony is a special ceremony that turns it into reality.
For us, Investiture Ceremony is not just about providing titles, but about conferring responsibilities to the students, to take charge of the school and take it to the height they desire with their leadership and decision making skills, communication and teamwork.
During the Investiture ceremony, a school prefectorial board is formed after scrutinous interviewing and selection which gives them a feel of functioning of an official administrative body.
Firstly, students were given a chance for contesting in the election .
In the next round of personal interview with the jury, the candidates were selected based on the rubrics like communication,academics achievement,conduct,mental strength,Presentation and sports achievement.
Candidates were allowed to do campaign in the school campus without disturbing the classes. A mock parliament election was conducted in the campus to demonstrate the process of election. Students from Junior and senior grade casted their votes in the polling booth set up in the school.
The selected students were honoured with their respective badges such as Head Girl, Head Boy, Sport Captain and the student council members take an oath to faithfully work for the school.
Our Chief guest S.Poornima ,SDO-Kumbakonam also encouraged the students to put in honest efforts for every endeavor and become an inspiration for others.
