Our student Ms. Deepavarshini of Grade 11,a highly sort athlete has represented Tamil Nadu in recently conducted Khelo India winter games which was held in Jammu & Kashmir, Gulmarg, between February 10 and February 14. The game was witnessed by Union Mos Mr.Nisith Pramanik.
Because of her hard work and dedicated effort she has won gold medal in in Bobsleigh and Skeleton and she has brought Pride to Tamil Nadu.
Under Junior Girls Category Our Honourable Prime Minister of India Shri. Narendra Modi has announced cash prize of Rs. 2,00,000/- for this unwavering performance of her.
We thank our Thanjore District Collector Thiru. Dinesh Ponraj Oliver, IAS and District sports officer J. David Daniel,who have invited Ms. Deepavarshini to their office and honoured her.
