Dr. GSK Philately Exhibition Inauguration

The inaugural function cum Dr.G.S.K.Philately Exhibition was held in our school campus.

Principal ,Deans and Philately Teacher Incharges welcomed the Guest of Honour Rtn. Mr.P.S.Seshadri, Senior Philatelist, Guiness Record Holder who inaugurated the Philately Hall.

"Philately'' the thematic exhibition served as an academic arena to widen the knowledge of Philately related terminology. Special/exhibition covers, Army postal covers, Place Pictorial cancellations, Stamps of several era (Buddha Jayanthi etc, Thematic collections (Sports, Birdseye.) and the First Day Covers were on the display forum.

Students of Grade VI to IX visited the exhibition Hall accompanied by the philately club students.

Philately workshop for the beginners of Dr.G.S.K was conducted on 09.11.2022 and 10.11.2022 which fostered essential skills and self-directed learning.In totality the learning was power packed.Pupils extracted the essence of the day.
