The 138th Birth Anniversary of one of the greatest Tamil poets Subramanya Bharathi, was celebrated at Dr.G.S.Kalyanasundaram Memorial School.
As part of the celebrations, various arts and literary competitions for students were conducted online on 08-12-2020 and 09-12-2020. Around 500 students of our school participated with verve and enthusiasm. They expressed through their performance the influence of Bharathi and his impact on Tamil, which added beauty to the celebrations.
The names of the winners in the internal competitions were announced today i.e 11-12-2020, which is Bharathiyar's birthday.
